Product Manager Jobs Hampshire, Scientific Vacancies Southampton.  Zest Scientific recruitment is working in association with an innovative developer of scientific research tools in order to select a highly credible Product Manager from within the Life Sciences / or Chemical sector.  The Product Manager will own the product line strategy, leading the price definition, developing the product positioning and developing the go to market strategy.  Competitor analysis is a key element of the role, the Product Manager will be responsible for evaluating competitor pricing strategies and maintaining up to date records.

The Product Manager will be analytical, organised with the ability to synthesise issues to their salient points.  A methodical, highly organised approach is required as the Product Manager will deal with multiple conflicting priorities.  The successful candidate will be educated (minimum) to degree level in a relevant area of science coupled with a track record in Marketing / Product Management.  A formal post graduate qualification (CIM) would be highly advantageous.  Additionally, the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail.  This role will involve a high degree of autonomy; consequently, the Product Manager will need to be a self starter with a willingness to take ownership of projects.
