Molecular Biology Scientist Jobs, Technical Support Scientist jobs London.  Zest Scientific recruitment is actively recruiting for a Molecular Biology Scientist to undertake the position of Technical Support Specialist within a leading provider of Genomic solutions.  Based in Surrey, the Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for processing technical queries on Genomics products (reagents for expression, silencing and detection) and plastic consumables from International and UK customers.  Due to the nature of the role, the Technical Support Scientist will be required to communicate with both International and Domestic queries, it is therefore essential that applicants demonstrate proficient communication skills in English (Written & Verbal) and either French or German. 

The Technical Support Scientist job represents an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished Molecular Biology Scientist who is interested in making the transition from an exclusively research / bench top scientific role into a commercially focused position which will provide an excellent grounding in the commercial Life Sciences sector.  The Technical Support Scientist vacancy sits within the Technical Support / Marketing division and as a front line representative of the company, this role will influence customer allegiance so it is important that candidates are courteous and professional at all times.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in Molecular Biology with experience in a Molecular Biology laboratory, or have a PhD in a relevant Life Science subject.  It is essential that applicants have technical expertise in PCR, qPCR, RNA and gene slicing concepts and procedures.  Please note, written and fluent spoken French or German are essential skills for the role.
