Scientific Account Manager - Drug Discovery - Spain.  Zest Scientific Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a fast growing, innovative biotech company to recruit an experienced Scientific Sales - Account Manager to manage the Spanish region.  The Account Manager will be the country sales representative, based in Spain promoting a portfolio which has an excellent reputation and is 'best in class' in the drug discovery and screening markets.  This role represents an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished Scientific Sales Professional with excellent knowledge of the Spanish Life Sciences industry and a proven track record supporting previous sales achievements.

The focus of the role will be to maximise the sales of our client's full product portfolio through direct selling to high through put screening laboratories of pharmaceutical and biotechnological companies.  This will be achieved through utilizing effective sales strategies combined with skilful key account management.  My client's products, biochemical and cell-based assays, enable customers to improve research productivity and effectiveness, speeding up the drug discovery process.  The reagents are novel and proprietary and have a number of unique selling points.

Due to the dynamic nature of the role, applicants should have a proven track record coupled with an instinctive business sense.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful sales background in the life sciences market, demonstrating an enterprising and results oriented attitude.  Language skills: Spanish & English (verbal and written).
