Analytical Chemist Jobs Leicester, Analyst, Laboratory Technician Vacancies in Loughborough, East Midlands.  Zest Scientific recruitment is working in partnership with a leading manufacturer of custom chemicals to identify a credible Analytical Chemist to provide analysis of raw materials using Titration and Spectroscopy analytical techniques.  An important member of the Analytical Support team the Analytical Chemist will work with Quality and Compliance teams, providing data analysis in order to qualify product purity to help the Quality and Compliance team with analytical problem solving.  This is a routine role and typically, the successful candidate will carry out extensive daily analysis (5/6 hours per day) on over 2000 product lines.

The Analytical Chemist will draw upon previous experience in Organic Chemistry, providing technical support to resolve technical queries. Additionally responsible for calibrating and carrying out routine maintenance on Analytical Instrumentation in accordance with the requirements of the quality systems. 

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Laboratory Technician / Analyst capacity with experience of Titration and Spectroscopy.  We are seeking a team player who can interact with a range of stake holders across multiple divisions.  A natural flair for problem solving is a highly desirable personality trait as the Analytical Chemist will be required to assist in resolving customer complaints through batch analysis.
